I welcome requests for art commissions. Wouldn’t you love a painting of your house for Christmas? Or perhaps give a wedding gift to a friend’s daughter of their home or wedding reception? Maybe you’ll have your kids playing in the yard with the dog or next to your favorite magnolia tree. Memories are made like this and it’s fun to capture them on a painted canvas to hang in your home in a splendid display for all to see.

I have been commissioned to paint people’s homes with and without family members depicted including dogs or cats. I have also painted bread boards showing the wedding party in front of the church or reception hall in my folk art style. There are so many possibilities for venues to explore if you would like to have something special created for your family.

Below are a few samples of some recent commissions I have just completed. Please take a look and if you have any questions just reach out and ask. The price depends on the size of the painting, the materials that we use like canvas or wood or any other special requests that you might have. The basic price for an original painting would start around $300 for the small size, 10 x 10 inch canvas, and go from there. It’s a great gift item!!!
