“Seasons” is the gallery wrapped canvas created from the original artwork I painted for our latest Marblehead Puzzle.
The four seasons of our colorful town are depicted in a transitional style with this new 16 x 20 inch acrylic painting.
For those collectors of our “Marblehead Minis”, this high end Giclee print is approximately the size of 2 of our minis.( Marblehead Minis are 10 x 10 inches)
The “Seasons” painting begins with Summer.
The harbor is teeming with all sorts of boats and paddle boarders. People are visiting and walking around enjoying the historic architecture and the charming nooks and crannies of our town.The beaches are filled with families having fun. It is the busiest time of the year here in Marblehead.
Fall is the next season. The trees are ablaze with bright reds, oranges and yellows as the lobstermen bring in their daily catch to the town docks. The kids are back to school and Halloween pumpkins are popping up here and there.
The Winter season in Marblehead coats the landscape with a blanket of snow. Skating at Redd’s Pond is a family tradition and enjoyed by all. Others in town may prefer to ski and sled with their friends at the local parks and hills. The kids have fun building snowman and having snowball fights.
Springtime brings the boatyards alive once again with lots of boat preparation going on all over town. The ice has melted on the pond so now the model sailboat folks are back at their boat races while the resident ducks parade around showing off their newborn chicks.
The trees and flowers are all coming back to life and the town of Marblehead is filled with hollyhocks and kites and people enjoying the warmer Spring weather.
